Michigan Republican gubernatorial candidate Ryan Kelley was arrested at his home on Thursday morning for his involvement in last year’s January 6 Capitol riots, according to the U.S. Attorney’s office for the District of Columbia. A man who became enraged by state-mandated COVID-19 restrictions and plotted to kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) was sentenced to over six years in prison on Wednesday.
