Russia has accused NATO of destabilizing the global situation through a series of major military exercises in Europe. The "Steadfast Defender" series of manoeuvres exercises the scenario of armed confrontation with Russia, Nikolai Patrushev, the secretary of the Security Council of Russia said in Magas in the northern Caucasus, according to the Interfax news agency. "This undoubtedly increases tensions and destabilizes the situation in the world," Patrushev said. NATO countries are currently engaged in the "Nordic Response 2024" exercises in Norway.

Tax money collected by Israel has flowed back to the Palestinian Authority (PA) via Norway, the Norwegian government announced on Thursday. The UK lagged behind other similar countries in cancer treatment, with patients waiting longer before starting chemotherapy, according to two new studies. Researchers analysed data from more than 780,000 cancer patients in Australia, Canada, Norway, and the UK. The Norwegian start-up Aviant on Tuesday expanded its drone delivery service to 4,000 people living in the Lillehammer suburbs as it launched the longest-range drone deliveries in the world.
