UK postal and courier service, Royal Mail, has received a takeover bid from Daniel Křetínský, a Czech billionaire who has also invested in Sainsbury's and West Ham United Football Club. Over 500 employers have been named by the UK government for failing to pay the minimum wage. "The 524 employers were found to have failed to pay their workers nearly £16 million in a clear breach of the National Minimum Wage (NMW) law, leaving over 172,000 workers out of pocket," Kevin Hollinrake MP, Department for Business and Trade, said in a press release. Washington (AFP) - Covid-19 vaccine maker Novavax raised doubts Tuesday about its ability to continue its business, announcing plans to cut spending after struggles in rolling out its coronavirus jab.
