Holloway and Jones claim 60 metres hurdles world records
Grant Holloway and Tia Jones claimed 60-metres hurdles world records at the US Indoor Championships in Albuquerque on Friday evening. Holloway ran 7.27 seconds in the men's heats to break his own 60m hurdles world record from February 2021 in Madrid. The victory was Holloway’s 60th consecutive at the senior 60m hurdles, part of a decade-long streak that has left him still the only hurdler all time to dip under 7.30, a feat he has now achieved three times.
