The Grammys Postponed Due To COVID-19
The 2021 Grammy Awards have been postponed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. In a joint statement from the Recording Academy and CBS, the network that produces the show, it was announced that the music awards show will now take place on March 14, 2021. The event was originally set to take place on Sunday, January 31, with The Daily Show’s Trevor Noah as host. Beyoncé dominated this year’s list of Grammy nominees, leading a diverse but arguably scattered group of artists whose names were listed in Tuesday’s nomination ceremony for the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards.
