Progress Seen in Jeff Sims’ Passing Accuracy
Quarterback Jeff Sims has progressed "every single day" as a passer since fall camp began, Nebraska football offensive coordinator Marcus Satterfield said Tuesday. "He had a goal. He wanted to take care of the football. He wanted to raise his completion percentage," Satterfield said. "The first four or five days, the completion percentage wasn't as good as we wanted," but "he just chipped away at it, and by the end of camp it's around where we want it to be" — around 65 percent.
