Los Angeles Rams linebacker Bobby Wagner told reporters Wednesday that he’s excited for the team’s Week 18 matchup in Seattle against the Seahawks, his old team. Wagner said that he felt as though the Seahawks “gave up” on him before his release in March. “I’m pretty sure you’ve played your family before in basketball, golf or whatever,” Wagner said. “When you play your friend, y’all might talk a little trash. It is what it is, but when you’re playing your family member that knows your deepest, darkest secrets and knows exactly what to say to you to make you feel a certain type of way, and als...

The protester who ran on the field Monday night during a game between the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers filed a police report against Rams linebacker Bobby Wagner. The individual was hit hard by Wagner during the incident before getting taken off the field by security. Wagner said that he was aware of the police report but did not seem concerned or remorseful about his course of action. “Can’t really focus on it,” Wagner said. “I’m more concerned about the security guard that was hurt trying to chase him … You just got to do what you got to do.” TMZ Sports reported that the proteste...

On the heels of their Super Bowl win, the Los Angeles Rams just keep adding players. Following deals with free agents WR Allen Robinson and LB Bobby Wagner, the team has signed punter Riley Dixon. Dixon signed with L.A. Tuesday after spending the past four years with the New York Giants, who released him last month. He started his NFL career with two years on the Broncos roster after a college career at Syracuse. L.A. last month released its longtime punter Johnny Hekker, who signed with the Panthers.

Longtime Seattle Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner has found a new home—and he didn’t even have to leave the division! Wagner, 31, Thursday inked a five-year deal with the defending Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams worth $50 million and possibly up to $65 million with incentives. “I want to start off by saying THANK YOU to Seattle for embracing this Cali kid, with a dream of playing in the NFL,” Wagner wrote on Instagram. “Though it didn’t end in a positive way; I want to be clear, my love for Seattle will never change. Seattle is truly a place I call home & the love I’ve felt throughout th...

The Seattle Seahawks will have a completely new look next season, as the team Tuesday parted ways with two franchise icons on both sides of the ball: Hours after agreeing to trade quarterback Russell Wilson to the Denver Broncos (for a large haul), the team released All-Pro linebacker Bobby Wagner. Things certainly do come full circle: The two stalwarts were drafted on the same day in 2012 and now depart Seattle on the same day a decade later. The 33-year-old Wilson was traded for three players and four draft picks. The Wagner move will save the Seahawks $16.6 million in salary cap space but c...

The Russell Wilson era in Seattle could be coming to a close with the Seahawks sitting at 5-10 going into their last home game of the season. They play the Detroit Lions on Sunday. “I know for me personally, I hope it’s not my last game. But at the same time, I know it won’t be my last game in the NFL,” Wilson said on Pro Football Talk. “I’m just focused on today and getting better today. That’s my goal. I love this city and I love this moment. I love these guys and we gotta make sure we get better today. That’s all that matters.” While Wilson says he hopes to stay in Seattle, reports are that...
