There was an 8 per cent increase in child sexual abuse imagery in 2023 compared to the previous year, making it the worst in history, according to a new report from the UK-based Internet Watch Foundation (IWF). The findings uncover an uncomfortable truth about how children are left to their own devices when navigating the digital world, increasing their vulnerability to harm.
