Hawaiian Republican Party vice chair for communications Edwin Boyette recently resigned from his position after tweeting pro-QAnon messages from the party’s official Twitter account. Party leadership in Hawaii has been quick to denounce Boyette’s actions. “Those tweets were unauthorized,” said Shirlene Ostrov, chair of the Hawaii Republican Party. “I think everyone can recognize that those tweets are isolated incidents and the person has since been removed.” Several other Republican officials have seconded Ostrov’s comments, but Hawaii Democrats don’t see the tweets as an “isolated incident.” ...
