US chip-maker Intel unveiled its latest artificial intelligence (AI) chip on Tuesday in a move to take market share from Nvidia. Intel said the Gaudi 3 could generate AI responses, a process called inference, faster than Nvidia's H100. It was also more power efficient and cheaper, Intel said. A new manufacturing technology called 14A, unveiled on Wednesday, is expected to be ready for the market in 2026.
