The Immigration Museum on New York Harbour's Ellis Island is to be completely renovated at a cost of around $100 million. Three drug smugglers have been arrested in connection with the deaths of five migrants transported to Spain from Morocco in their speedboat in November last year, police in the southern port of Cádiz reported on Monday. Police in Berlin are investigating the possibility of arson after a fire destroyed part of a refugee accommodation centre on the grounds of a former airport on Tuesday.
