Mikhail Gorbachev, the Russian politician who was the last leader of the Soviet Union before its dissolution, passed away at the Central Clinical Hospital in Moscow yesterday. Doctors said Gorbachev had been under supervision there since 2020 due to a “severe and prolonged illness,” that finally took his life at the age of 91.
