Adam Schefter believes the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft will make history. The NFL insider for ESPN went to X (formerly known as Twitter) on Tuesday morning to make a big prediction. “There never has been an NFL draft with more than 19 offensive players picked in the first round; that happened three times, most recently in 2009,” Schefter wrote. “But this draft is likely to set the record for most offensive players ever picked in round one.” The NFL is an offense-driven league, so 20 offensive players drafted wouldn’t be a big surprise.
