US regulators have announced an investigation after a detached engine cover caused a Southwest Airlines' Boeing 737-800 to return to the airport soon after take-off. In the latest incident involving a Boeing aircraft, Southwest Flight 3695 was bound on Sunday for Houston Hobby airport with 135 passengers and six crew members aboard. Southwest Airlines announced that it would be conducting an internal investigation after one of their pilots used a phrase to insult President Joe Biden during his official greeting to passengers. During the flight the pilot said “let’s go, Brandon,” a phrase that has been used a stand-in for “f— Joe Biden.” There were reportedly audible gasps heard from passenger’s after the phrase was said.
