The Jetsons cartoon only lasted three season in the mid 1960s but wow what an impact. It’s such a fun, futuristic, creatively written cartoon that dare I say most of us watched in syndication in the 1970s,1980s, and 1990s (I’m assuming). The Jetsons first aired in 1962 following the family of four with George and his wife Jane and their two children, Judy and Elroy in the year 2062. They lived in Orbit City here on earth with their dog Astro, and Rosey the robot who was their live-in maid. You can even stream it today if you want with plenty of streaming apps and services popping up in my Goog...

How strange and creepy you can buy a robot guard dog. Of course, it has so many more uses. Then again, maybe a flame-throwing robot dog with lasers isn’t that weird considering AI is taking over, robot dogs are already used by law enforcement agencies, and self-driving cars are a thing. There’s a company in Ohio called Throwflame and now you can buy this four-legged robot called the “Thermonator.” You have to admit the name is awesome however the video of this robot dog is truly terrifying. I’ll share it with you in a second. The Thermonator is the first of its kind which is probably something...

I have an iPhone and an iPad. I had an iPod once upon a time, too. Around half the population with a smartphone in the United States uses an iPhone according to Statista. I’m not surprised at all and thought it would be more actually. Anyway, have you ever wondered what the ‘i’ stands for in all of the Apple products? I assumed it meant “intelligent” and have never thought much more about it. I mean we’re talking about smart products, right? It all started in 1998 with the iMac according to the Digital Trends website. Apple was near bankruptcy and then Steve Jobs returned to the company in 199...

These devices hear voice commands from us as we chit chat even when it’s an innocent conversation with a friend about fashion or the latest shows and movies streaming. Our devices are doing exactly what they’re supposed to do and then taking action for us according to Popular Science. And how abo...

The latest bill to ban TikTok is making its way through the government. According to CNN, the latest bill has officially advanced through the House Energy and Commerce Committee and, if enacted, the bill would not allow TikTok to be taken down from app stores in the United States. However, if the company is able to separate from its parent company ByteDance, then it will remain on app stores. To separate from ByteDance, TikTok was given 165 days to do so. TikTok is not the only app targeted. The bill also contemplates banning other apps that are “controlled by foreign adversary companies.” The...

Do you ever turn your phone off and turn it back on? I’m talking about restarting your phone like we do our computers. I rarely turn my phone off and restart it. Now that I’m writing this I don’t remember the last time I did. Considering we’re on our phones all the time or at the very least glancing at them several times an hour to see if anyone is trying to reach us, it’s no wonder we never turn them off. Even if we mute them while we’re sleeping or in a meeting, having access is second nature even allowing certain people’s phone numbers to come through no matter what in case of an emergency....

It’s one of the first videos that pops up on YouTube when you search “how to dry out your cell phone.” Dunking a water-soaked iPhone into a bag of uncooked rice has long been trumpeted as one of the best ways to dry out your device following an accident. Apple now says you should ditch the rice. Why You Shouldn’t Put Your Phone In RiceThere’s likely been a few people who may have suggested it’s a bad idea to submerge your iPhone in rice, but there has never been official word from Apple. That has changed. Macworld, a website that focuses on Apple products, spotted a line regarding rice in the ...
