After leaving Washington, Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump bought a property on Indian Creek Island in Florida for $32 million with some wags dubbing the home “Mar-a-Lago 2.’

The home was designed in a French neoclassical style. New photos show that the couple has renovated the house, changing its outer color from tan to white. A large swimming pool still remains in front of the house.

Kushner and Trump have had temporary housing about one mile away from the construction.

Soon after departing from the White House in January 2021, the couple lived in Surfside, Florida. They rented a 7000-square-foot condo with six bedrooms. Earlier this year, the unit was purchased for $17 million, and the new owner took over their lease. It remains unclear where Kushner and Trump are living now.

Construction proposals for the new home reveal that a master wing will be built on the second floor with a spa-like bathroom. The suite, in addition to five other bedrooms, will open out to a large terrace. The first floor has a large foyer and a Florida Room behind a large deck and pool. It also contains the chef’s kitchen, dining room, family room and movie room.

A cabana will be located outside complete with a sauna, cold plunge, gym and shower.

Many other famous celebrities have made Indian Creek Island their home, including model Adriana Lima, who lived there until 2022. NFL star Tom Brady is also building a home on the island.
