Ivanka Trump posted a series of pictures in honor of her late mom, Ivana Trump, for Mother’s Day. She wrote, “On the first Mother’s Day following my mother’s passing, I hold space for the beautiful memories of my mom while cherishing the privilege of being a mother to my three amazing kids: Arabella, Joseph, and Theodore.”
Ivanka then shared a gallery of images featuring her mom in formal attire and skiing down a mountain as well as a few photos of herself and her own children.

Ivana died at her home in New York City in July 2022 at the age of 73.
In February, Ivanka also posted a carousel of photos in appreciation of her mom on what would have been her 74th birthday. She called her “the funniest, smartest and most glamorous woman I knew.”

In a 2016 interview, Ivanka spoke about how her mother balanced her personal life with being an executive in The Trump Organization. “I think she learned a lot of skills negotiating with us that she brought into the boardroom,” she said. “She spent very meaningful time with us, but she was also working very hard professionally and was very ambitious and very successful.”
Donald Trump also sent a Mother’s Day message but ignored paying tribute to his wife Melania, mother of his youngest child Barron Trump. He instead dedicated his post on Truth Social to the “Mothers, Wives and Lovers of the Radical Left,” asking them to make “these complete Lunatics and Maniacs Kinder, Gentler, Softer and, most importantly, Smarter.”
