Wendy Williams, 58, is not in the hospital despite a report suggesting she checked into a medical facility twice in the past two weeks.

The talk show host’s former publicist, Shawn Zanotti, said in a statement, “I can confirm that Wendy Williams is not in the hospital, as reported. I can also confirm she is not in New York, as reported.”

The Sun had reported that Williams went to the hospital on Mother’s Day weekend, was “released briefly” and then “went right back in” the following day.

But last week, many were concerned about her well-being when she withdrew last minute from a talk at the Atlanta Women’s Expo without offering a reason.

Williams has been dealing with numerous health issues recently, leading to the end of her talk show, The Wendy Williams Show, last year. In 2018, she revealed that her symptoms from Graves disease had worsened. The condition occurs when the immune system attacks the thyroid, resulting in anxiety, tremors and weight loss.

In 2020, Williams went on hiatus from the show, citing extreme fatigue as the cause.

She has also suffered from substance abuse and went into rehab in the fall of 2022. Friends raised concerns over her worsening condition before they intervened in 2020.
