Rob Gronkowski Is ‘So Annoyed’ About The ‘Baby Gronk’ Phenomenon

TAMPA, FLORIDA - FEBRUARY 07: Rob Gronkowski #87 and Tom Brady #12 of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers celebrate after defeating the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LV at Raymond James Stadium on February 07, 2021 in Tampa, Florida. The Buccaneers...

At Tight End University in Nashville, Tennessee, last week, Rob Gronkowskispoke to NFL players and made some news when he said that Jake San Miguel is “so annoying” for seeming to trade on his reputation.

San Miguel is the father of the infamous “Baby Gronk,” a ten-year-old who has more than 327,000 followers on Instagram.

Baby Gronk, whose real name is Madden San Miguel, recently had a very awkward interview with the Bring the Juice podcast, as his father fed him answers to questions that they asked.

Last month, Jake told The Athletic that his son trains five or six days per week and that he has been “programmed since he was 6 years old.”

“He diets, he eats clean foods, salmon and brown rice. He is in a routine. He’s a real athlete,” San Miguel said. “He’s not a normal kid. Normal kids are emotional. They put their head down when they make mistakes, talk back to the coaches, they make noises, but he doesn’t do that.”

On the Bussin’ With the Boys podcast, hosts and former NFL players Taylor Lewan and Will Compton spoke to Gronk about the Baby Gronk social media phenomenon.

“He goes, ‘Did I see him? His dad’s [expletive] hitting me up 500 times already,'” Gronkowski said. “The dad is so annoying. It’s to the point where it’s awkward. It’s too far.”

The hype with Baby Gronk really set a new high when he and LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne were mashed together in social media posts.
