The rivalry between Elon Muskand Mark Zuckerberg has gone into overdrive since Zuckerberg’s new social media app Threads was released on Thursday.

This spat started when Wendy’s posted a comment on Threads referencing Musk’s SpaceX company, “Hey @zuck, you should go to space just to really make him mad lol.”

Zuckerberg responded with the crying laughing emoji.

One Twitter user screenshotted the conversation and slammed Zuckerberg, writing, “Elon: Protects free speech. Zuck: Protects brand speech.”

Musk came across this conversation and decided to add his own comment, “Zuck is a cuck.”

In an attempt to promote Twitter, Musk has been hyping up the “improvements” he made to the social media app. Most experts say that user experience on the platform has declined dramatically since he took over.

He has attacked Zuckerberg, accusing Threads of being a copy of Twitter, and threatened to sue him.

In another post, one Twitter user wrote, “Zuckerberg’s Twitter clone is riding on Instagram to attract new downloads, but there are major issues with this new app, as well as an interesting twist to this saga…” The user continued to detail their opinions on Thread’s faults and why Twitter is the superior app.

Musk decided to respond to this while taking a shot at Instagram and Threads, “Accurate assessment. Threads is just Instagram minus pics, which makes no sense, given that thirst pics are the main reason people use that app. How many times have you read comments on Insta pics & wished there were more? Personally, never.”

Musk continued to remark on the situation in the comment section calling Zuckerberg a “cheater.”

“Also, Zuck is claiming “sign-ups” while really just converting Instagram users. Cheater.”

Zuckerberg seems unbothered by Musk’s attacks, as he has not publicly commented on them.
