Bruce Springsteen has postponed two dates of his upcoming concerts in Philadelphia with the E Street Band due to illness.

It was not shared what illness Springsteen is battling, but his team announced the news on Wednesday on X, formerly Twitter.

“Due to Bruce Springsteen having been taken ill, his concerts with The E Street Band at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia on August 16 and 18 have been postponed,” they wrote. “We are working on rescheduling the dates so please hold on to your tickets as they will be valid for the rescheduled shows.”

He is due to play in Foxborough Massachusets at the Gillette Stadium next week. He will end August by playing in his home state in New Jersey and then has about three more months of touring before wrapping up in San Francisco on December 8.
