Elon Musk was booed by a crowd at a video game world championship in Los Angeles on Saturday. A broadcast of the event captured audience members chanting to Musk to “Bring back Twitter.”

Musk bought Twitter for $44 billion last year and rebranded the platform to X in April. He phased out the site’s recognizable bird logo and officially launched the new one in July.

While attending the Valorant World Championship Final, Musk was briefly shown on camera and immediately prompted the crowd of gamers to heckle him. An X user captured the moment and posted it to Musk’s own platform, quickly garnering almost 15 million views and 87,000 likes.

Since rebranding Twitter, Musk has been under scrutiny from tech moguls and social media users, all of whom have claimed that he made a mistake by swapping the company’s iconic logo with a seemingly meaningless alternative.

Musk has made many other changes to platform which users have objectionable – like charging for verification and restoring accounting of right-wing extremists.
