Ellie Goulding Says She Is ‘OK’ After Appearing To Get Hit In Face By A Firework During Concert

ARLINGTON, TEXAS - NOVEMBER 28: Ellie Goulding performs during halftime at the Thanksgiving game between the Buffalo Bills and the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium on November 28, 2019 in Arlington, Texas.

Ellie Goulding has assured fans that she is “OK” after she appeared to get hit in the face by a firework while performing at the Victorious Festival in Portsmouth, England, last weekend.

Goulding shouted “f—k” while singing her hit song, “Miracle,” after the pyrotechnic seemingly shot a firework into her face.

On Wednesday, the singer took to Instagram and eased fans’ minds about her perceived injuries.

“To those asking I am OK!,” she wrote. “Pyro didn’t hit me in the face. Face is intact. Love you thank you x.”

Goulding made headlines in April after she spoke publicly about her mental health struggles since welcoming her son Arthur in April 2021.

“I’ve had no choice but to put myself and being a mother first, and then everything else I will do to the best of my ability,” she said in a statement at the time.
