Pulled Chicken Burger

Ingredients for 4 burgers:

4 burger buns
4 tablespoons BBQ sauce
1 small romaine lettuce
2 tomatoes
100 g cucumber
For the Pulled Chicken:
100 g ketchup
2 onions
1 clove of garlic
800 g chicken breast fillet
salt
freshly ground black pepper
paprika powder
cayenne pepper
500 ml non-alcoholic wheat beer

Preparation:

1. Preheat the oven to 100 °C top/bottom heat. Peel the onions and garlic and chop them very finely. Wash the meat, pat dry and place in an ovenproof dish. Season the meat with salt, bell pepper, paprika powder and cayenne pepper.
Add the onions and garlic. Pour the beer into the roaster and cook the meat in a preheated oven for 5-6 hours.

2. In the meantime, prepare the rolls and the BBQ sauce.

3. Clean, wash and spin dry the lettuce. Wash the tomatoes and cucumber, pat dry and cut both into slices. Cover and refrigerate the vegetables until ready to serve.

4. Remove the meat from the oven. Preheat the oven to 200 °C top/bottom heat.
Remove the meat from the roaster with a fork, let rest for 5 minutes. Then shred on a cake board with two forks. Pour 100 ml of the liquid from the roaster together with the ketchup to a boil. Remove from heat add the plucked meat, mix well and season with salt and pepper taste.

5. Cut the buns in half, place cut side up on a baking sheet and toast in a hot oven for about 4 minutes. Heat the meat again briefly. Top the burger buns with the ingredients and serve.

Preparation time approx. 30 minutes + 5-6 hours meat cooking time
