Amnesia: The Dark Descent
This tricky game forces you to face risky scenarios since you have a sanity meter that fills up when you look at horrifying images or stay in the darkness — which is pretty ironic since you will feel very, very crazy as you get chased around in the dark by terrifying monsters. This game is definitely not for everyone and you have to definitely be brave.
Outlast
This game is most definitely one of the scariest games of all time, making it the best game to play during Halloween season. You will control a journalist who is investigating some reportedly disturbing events at a remote psychiatric hospital. You will feel completely immersed in this scary setting since you’ll be crawling around dirty floors, hiding under blood-stained beds, and anything else it takes to hide from the horrifying monsters that are hunting you down.
