Boukakuan: A journey through the everyday and the spaces between the everyday
When you open the front door, you will find a traditional Japanese room.
The garden of Bokakuan, Roki, is one of my favorite places that I created over a long period of time and diligently.
When you open the window, a pleasant breeze comes in.
The reading room has a slightly different atmosphere from the Japanese-style room. The floor, made from recycled wood, was also DIYed by the owner and his friends.
I highly recommend you read Momo by Michael Ende.
The bathroom was the only one that was completely renovated. I was a little selfish and asked the carpenter to leave the wooden frame of the window, and it's my favorite part.
The bedroom is on the second floor. It can accommodate 1 to 6 people.
There are two private rooms (one semi-double bed each) and four futons.
Please come and enjoy your stay.
