Access to “TEMPLE STAY ZENSŌ”
You can feel the countryside about 70km from the city center. If using train or taxi, approximately 20 minutes by taxi from Kawamata Station on the Tobu Isesaki Line. Approximately 10 minutes by taxi from Higashi-Koizumi Station on the Tobu Koizumi Line. If you are coming by car, it is approximately 25 minutes from Tatebayashi IC and approximately 30 minutes from Hanyu IC.

Since the entire building is reserved, it can be used for various purposes such as friends, family, work, training camps, etc. In addition to the kitchen and living room, there are two tatami rooms (2LDK) that can be partitioned. There is also a telework space in a renovated closet, complete with shower room and washing machine. The interior motif of the tables and windows is ``◯△▢'', which expresses Zen. (If one corner is removed from ▢, it becomes △, and if there is no corner at all, it becomes ◯.)

In the garden in front of the facility, you can use the BBQ table and pizza oven to enjoy local ingredients, an experience you can't have in the city. We also offer BBQ sets made with local Joshu beef and pizza making experiences from pizza dough (reservation required/separate fee). Gather around the bonfire in silence. How about using your time differently than usual?
Since it is a temple, you can also experience zazen and sutra copying!
You can experience zazen and sutra copying at Horinji Temple, which is located right next door (reservation required/separate fee). In addition, those staying at the hotel can participate in the morning shift the next day (reservation required).

The Akaiwa Ferry is a power boat that operates on the Kumagaya-Tatebayashi Line, a major local road (prefectural road) that connects Akaiwa, Chiyoda Town, with Kuzuwada, Kumagaya City, Saitama Prefecture, across the Tone River. It is the only ``water prefectural road'' on the Tone River and carries over 20,000 people a year.
