1. Ichinosaka River: 200 Cherry Trees Along the Old Townscape

Long ago, Yamaguchi was built in the style of Kyoto, with the Ichinosaka River being likened to Kyoto's Kamogawa River. Approximately 200 Yoshino cherry trees are in full bloom on both banks of the Ichi-no-Saka River, creating a traditional atmosphere.

The scenery with the old townhouses in the surrounding area is spectacular, and it is known as one of the best cherry blossom viewing spots in Yamaguchi Prefecture.

During the cherry blossom blooming period, the area is illuminated at night (7pm to 10pm), and the cherry blossoms in full bloom decorate the quaint town of Yamaguchi and delight visitors. 3. Meiji Restoration Centenary Park: Recommended for Families

It is one of 10 urban parks designated by the government to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Meiji era. It is also a base for sports and cultural activities, with an athletics stadium, gymnasium, and outdoor music hall, and in the spring, it is a place of relaxation for citizens that is crowded with visitors to see the cherry blossoms.
