The majority of German football fans would prefer seeing Bayer Leverkusen winning this season's Bundesliga title instead of record champions Bayern Munich, according to survey conducted by the sports marketing agency ONE8Y on behalf of broacasters Sky.
Some 56% of the fans said they would like to see Leverkusen claiming their maiden Bundesliga title, while 37% said they want Bayern to claim a record-extending 12th consecutive trophy.
But most of the respondents believe Bayern will win the Bundesliga table topper at Leverkusen on Saturday: 39% think the Bavarians will take the victory, while 28% said Leverkusen will win. The rest believe in a draw or didn't answer.
Leverkusen are unbeaten this season and top the standings two points ahead of Bayern.
