Yannick Bolasie says Arsenal have a player who's even more unpredictable than Martinelli

Yannick Bolasie has claimed that Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson is actually a lot more unpredictable than Gabriel Martinelli.

The Brazil international has made the left-wing spot his own for a few years now. He is an unbelievable player, but Bolasie believes Arsenal‘s Nelson is right up there too in terms of unpredictability.

Yannick Bolasie says Arsenal’s Reiss Nelson is more unpredictable than Gabriel Martinelli

Reiss Nelson is Arsenal through and through.

The Englishman joined the club’s academy when he was just eight years old. He came through the ranks and was viewed as one of the most exciting talents in the country in his teens.

Nelson, however, hasn’t quite been able to deliver at senior level consistently. That is a shame because he really does have so much talent in his locker.

Yannick Bolaise, who knows a thing or two about being a winger, has had his say on Nelson, and he believes the 24-year-old is actually more unpredictable than Gabriel Martinelli.

Speaking on The Filthy Fellas podcast, Bolasie said: “Reiss Nelson has more than Martinelli. Unpredictability, I’m not saying ability, but unpredictability.

“When he first came through Reiss, it was mad. I don’t feel like he has been doing what he was doing when he was first coming through.

“Some man get comfortable, that’s the way it is.”

Arsenal will likely sell Reiss Nelson

It’s such a shame that Reiss Nelson hasn’t been as good as someone like Bukayo Saka at Arsenal.

If you were one of those who watched the Englishman play for the academy sides back in the day, you would’ve been convinced that he was a star in the making. He was even better than Jadon Sancho.

Sadly, for one reason or another, Nelson has not been able to do it consistently at Arsenal. We think a move away is very likely in the summer and it will possibly be a permanent one.

We’re sure a number of Premier League clubs would be interested in Nelson. He’s still only 24 and has a lot of time before he reaches his peak.

Nelson just needs to play regularly, and that’s more likely to happen elsewhere than at Arsenal.
