‘He will not’: Jurgen Klopp says ‘super-fast’ Liverpool player will not feature against Nottingham Forest

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has given an update on the injury situation of Mohamed Salah ahead of the Premier League match against Nuno’s Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.

Klopp has said whether or not Salah is available for Liverpool on Saturday afternoon.

So, what has Jurgen Klopp said about Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah ahead of Nottingham Forest against Liverpool? Let’s take a look.

Mohamed Salah will not play for Liverpool vs Nottingham Forest

Well, Nottingham Forest will take on Liverpool at the City Ground in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

While Forest are aiming to avoid the dreaded drop to the Championship at the end of the season, Liverpool are looking to win the Premier League title.

Nuno’s side are 17th in the Premier League table with 24 points from 26 matches, four points above Luton Town, who are third from bottom and have played 25 games.

Meanwhile, Liverpool currently find themselves at the top of the Premier League table with 60 points from 26 matches, a point ahead of second-placed and defending champions Manchester City. They will head into the game against Forest as favourites.

Ahead of the match on Saturday afternoon, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has said that Mohamed Salah will not play.

Klopp, who has previously described Salah as “a super-fast player”, has noted that the Egyptian forward is still nursing a hamstring injury that saw him the Merseyside club’s last three matches.

Klopp told Liverpool’s official website: “I don’t think Mo is too far off, but he will not feature tomorrow and from there we have to go.

“It’s like touch and go… but I think next week at any point it is possible. He is on the way back, definitely, but not there yet.”

My View: Don’t write off Nottingham Forest

In my opinion, Nottingham Forest could get something from the match against Liverpool. I think that Nuno’s team could pick up a point at the City Ground.

Liverpool have the better players and are in better form. After all, the Merseyside club have won their last three Premier League matches, while Forest have lost three of their last six.

However, Forest are at home, and the team have shown signs of improvement under head coach Nuno. They scored two goals against Aston Villa and beat West Ham United 2-0 at the City Ground in the league recently.
