Wayne Rooney's stock as a TV pundit is continuing to rise and he has been drafted in by TNT Sports for this Saturday's Premier League clash between his former sides Manchester United and Everton.
The ex-England forward was most recently a pundit for the BBC during United's 1-0 win away at Nottingham Forest in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
The Daily Mirror report he has become a popular figure among TV companies and he could be offered regular work as a pundit, with TNT Sports confirming they have snapped him up for this weekend's lunchtime kick-off at Old Trafford.
Rooney has spoken of his desire to return to management having been sacked by Birmingham City back in January after winning just two of his 15 games in charge.
Prior to that, he spent just over a year in charge of MLS side D.C. United, while his first steps into the managerial came after hanging up his boots at Derby County, leading the cash-strapped Rams from the dugout between November 2020 and June 2022.
