Manchester United have been heavily linked with Crystal Palace’s Michael Olise in recent months.
And with the summer transfer window on the horizon, speculation linking the Red Devils with the 22-year-old is intensifying.
For instance, transfer insider Ben Jacobs recently claimed Olise is currently the only player who has been approved as a target by Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s team.
Now, Sportslens has provided a further update on Man United’s interest in the Frenchman, and it’s a positive report for Red Devils fans.
According to Dean Jones, early signs appear positive in terms of Man United being able to land Olise, after having begun exploring a deal in January.
He is apparently seen as the perfect player profile as the Red Devils look to explore options for the long-term. In addition, his Premier League experience is an added bonus.
All in all, Olise is said to be an ideal and realistic signing as Man United look to bolster their ranks for a much more positive season next time out.
The report also claims that, in terms of a potential price tag, his release clause is apparently in the region of £55million.

Olise would be a real statement signing for a Man United outfit currently nowhere near the levels they were under Sir Alex Ferguson.
Since the start of the 2022-23 season, Olise has scored eight goals and provided 14 assists in the Premier League. And he has been out injured for much of this campaign.
“But when he leaves, if he picks the right team where he’s allowed to express himself, he’s going to be a superstar,” Micah Richards recently said on The Rest is Football podcast. “He’s that good.
“I remember watching him at the Etihad a couple of seasons ago. It’s not just his dribbling, it’s his decision-making – when to lay off the ball and his first touch is sublime.
“Yeah, he’s going to the very top.”
Admittedly, there could be competition from the likes of Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea, but the Red Devils will certainly fancy their chances of winning the race.
After all, who wouldn’t want to be part of the team which seeks to get the club back to the very top?
