Lucas Paqueta's succession of retweets on X make for incredibly interesting reading

West Ham United star Lucas Paqueta has been very active indeed on X, formerly known as Twitter, over the past day or so.

Lucas Paqueta has been in absolutely sensational form for West Ham so far this season, and as a result has been recalled to the Brazil National team squad.

However, there is one big concern for the Hammers fans, and that is that Manchester City want to sign him in an £85 million deal this summer.

For now though, we just have to enjoy him. Paqueta played a key role for West Ham during our 5-0 win over Freiburg in the Europa League on Thursday night.

The Brazilian opened the scoring, but then caused controversy with his childish reaction to being substituted on the 60th minute.

He clearly didn’t want to get taken off by David Moyes, and let it be known that he was extremely unhappy. Now, taking that into account, his latest retweets on X make for very interesting reading indeed…

West Ham star Lucas Paqueta posts succession of retweets on X

The Brazilian Hammers star has been very active indeed on social media platform X over the past 24 hours or so.

Paqueta has retweeted the following posts on his official X account:

That really is interesting. Would it be cynical of me to suggest that he is sending a message to Moyes reminding him of just how important he is to this team, and to warn the gaffer against taking him off in future?

Maybe, maybe not. What is clear is that the South American is absolutely crucial to us and everything good that we do as a team.

Keeping him fit between now and the end of the season will be vital to our hopes of achieving any kind of success, and he’ll have to get used to being substituted if we have games wrapped up with 20 minutes or so still remaining.

Nobody likes being substituted, but Lucas Paqueta will have to learn that it will be a necessity at times, for the good of West Ham United.
