Losipini Tupou Talks Relationship With Coach Raiola

Nebraska recently extended an offer to a talented three-star offensive lineman by the name of Losipini Tupou.

Tupou is an offensive tackle at Archbishop Riordan High School in San Francisco. He is a three-star class of 2025 prospect who stands 6-foot-2 and weighs in at 275 pounds. He talked with HuskerMax about the offer.

“Receiving an offer to Nebraska was huge to my family and me,” Tupou said. “Especially knowing who Coach (Donovan) Raiola (offensive line coach) is, he’s the type of guy that knows what he wants. So him believing in me enough to want me to be a part of the program meant a lot.”

He dived deep into what makes Nebraska special.

“Well first off, what makes Nebraska unique is its top-tier education as well as its rich football history. Football doesn’t limit a player’s educational desires, which was made clear the first time I talked to Coach Donny.”

“I’ve been in contact with Coach Raiola, Devon (Hike) (recruiting assistant) and Aaron Coeling (graduate assistant) as of late and they’ve been really helpful in helping me understand what Nebraska is like. We get on the phone and it’s always a solid conversation whether we’re talking about football or not. They let me know that whatever I need, I don’t have to hesitate to ask them.”

“After talking with the coaches, they’ve let me know that they are building something special at Nebraska. Hard work will be needed and you’ll have to compete every day you clock in. The team culture is there and it really feels like a brotherhood from what I’ve heard.”

Visiting seems to be nearly confirmed at this point.

“Yes, I plan to visit a spring practice sometime in March or early April to catch the feel of things and how they run their program.”

“Nebraska is a top school for me as of right now.”
