Travis Barker‘s baby mother, Shanna, recently celebrated her birthday at Las Vegas club Crazy Horse 3. As she approached the red carpet, she addressed Travis potentially speaking about her on The Kardashians.
Shanna Moakler makes birthday wish
Shanna Moakler, whose first reality TV stint was Meet The Barkers, made an unusual birthday wish this year. Before blowing out her candles, Moakler dished that her wish was to return to reality TV.
She said she was “crossing her fingers and optimistic that it would happen”, hinting she had something “very exciting in the works”. It’s been two years since she came seventh on Celebrity Big Brother.
The former Miss USA was presented with a massive birthday cake reminiscent of a pink stack of hundred dollar bills and a birthday sash, and happily chatted to fans as she awaits her TV comeback.
Meet The Barkers was Shanna’s reality TV stint
Shanna once appeared on a reality series for MTV that premiered April 6, 2005. The series followed the former couple throughout their daily activities, and covered the couple’s wedding and life as a family.
The show continued for two seasons until February 2006. Their children, Alabama Luella Barker and Landon Asher Barker, also made their reality TV debuts, airing 16 episodes in total.
Moakler and Oscar De La Hoya’s daughter, Atiana Cecelia De La Hoya, also appeared on the show. Later, Barker filed for divorce after the series finale until it was finalized in 2008.
She waves off The Kardashians backlash
When asked about a report about former ex husband, Travis Barker, potentially speaking out against her in the next season of The Kardashians, Moakler laughed and said, “I don’t care! Go for it!”
At the beginning of 2024, Shanna spoke out about her ex and said on the Dumb Blonde podcast, “Travis — even when we weren’t together — always wanted to be the ‘super dad’.”
Moakler called the Kardashians “disgusting,” saying, “I removed myself so that they couldn’t bond over my children hating me.” She also said they’re “buying them Prada” and “meeting Kanye [West]”.
