TV star cries over late husband nine months after death - 'You're safe now'

Tammy Slaton is mourning the loss of her late husband, Caleb Willingham, nine months on from his tragic death. The reality TV star paid tribute to him in a TikTok video posted on March 24. Tammy and Caleb got married during the show at a rehabilitation center in November 2022.

Sadly, it was only a matter of months before Caleb died aged 40. Per the autopsy report, obtained by In Touch, his passing was the “result of complications of super morbid obesity.” Now, 1000-lb Sisters star Tammy Slaton is remembering her former spouse and tearfully says he’s “safe now” in her TikTok.

Tammy Slaton pays tribute to Caleb

1000-lb Sisters fans are sending their condolences to Tammy as she shares a heartbreaking post on TikTok this March.

The reality TV star shared a duet video of herself watching back photos and videos of herself and Caleb.

The snapshots show the two on their wedding day, spending time together at Christmas and in the rehab center as well as some clips of Tammy attending Caleb’s funeral.

Tammy says ‘You’re safe now’

As Tammy watches back moments shared between herself and Caleb, a TikTok sound plays over the video.

The audio clip says: “It’s been a year Daddy, I really really miss you, Mommy says you’re safe now, in a beautiful place called heaven.”

Tammy repeats the words herself as they play on the video, prompting fans to send her “prayers.”

One commented: “We love you Tammy! Caleb is missed.”

TLC fan confusion

Following Tammy’s post, some fans took to the comments section to say: “I did not realize that he had a child I don’t think him and Tammy had a child together.”

Clearing up any confusion the audio clip may have caused, Tammy shared in a separate post: “Caleb never had like actual children of his own. He had bonus children or, like, friends children that he help, that he had a big part in raising.”

She added: “That video, the sound, that wasn’t us, that was just the sound of some little kid.”
