Woman shocked to watch her phone’s fall from a hotel balcony 11 floors high as its left on record

A woman on holiday was shocked to learn that her phone was undamaged after she dropped it off an 11-story balcony.

Besides the iconic Nokia brick phone that could survive a nuclear apocalypse, modern technology is annoyingly fragile. That isn’t to say a good case can’t save your device, as witnessed recently by one holidaymaker.

The internet felt her phone pain

Camryn (@camrynallinson_) was recently on holiday in Puerto Rico when disaster struck. While recording a TikTok on her hotel balcony, Camryn could be seen dropping her iPhone just seconds after viewers caught a glimpse of her green dress.

The phone bounced off the ground and fell between the balcony bars, spinning aggressively as it flew from the 11-story building. The internet claims this is around 120ft.

After an eternity of falling, the phone landed facing upwards to give Camryn’s followers a look at the crystal clear sky.

After fans demanded to know what happened, Camryn took to the platform once more to offer her followers a clearer explanation.

She said: “Okay, this is the phone. There’s nothing, not a single scratch. The case is completely fine so BaubleBar sponsor me because I just promoted your brand.

“My phone dropped 11 stories off our balcony in Puerto Rico and it’s completely fine. It landed on a roof and I had to climb up a ladder to go get it.”

Her followers were just as shocked

Camryn’s followers were just as shocked that her phone remained unscathed after the horrendous fall.

One follower pointed out: “Bet it’s alright but when you drop it off a kitchen table it shatters to pieces.”

“The transition should you be picking it up off the ground at the bottom of the hotel. Like you’re dressed and ready to go out,” someone else suggested, as a third screamed, “IMAGINE JUMPING AFTER IT.”
