At least three children injured after shots fired in Finnish school

At least three children have been injured in an incident at a primary school in the Finnish city of Vantaa, just north of the capital Helsinki, the police have said.

Shots were fired at the school on Tuesday morning, they said.

The incident is being further investigated on site, and no details have yet been released.

According to the police, one suspected perpetrator has been detained, who is also still a minor.

The public has been asked to stay away from the area.
