Alabama is set to square off against UConn tonight in the Final Four, the right to advance to the national championship game on the line.
And the Crimson Tide are doing so in style. On Saturday afternoon, the program released a video narrated by ESPN’s Rece Davis recapping the journey so far and getting fans hyped for what is to come.
“Everyone doubting. Everyone. Everyone said your season was over,” Davis begins. “You can’t guard. You’re too weak. You’re too frail. You can’t win in the tournament playing this system. But here you are.”
Here the Tide are indeed, having knocked off the 1-seed North Carolina to win the West Region. Here they are, making their first Final Four appearance ever.

Alabama will enter tonight’s game against UConn as a heavy underdog. The Huskies are favored by 11.5 points, according to lines listed by FanDuel.
But anything can happen. After all, that’s why they play the games.
And Davis had one final message for Alabama in the hype video he helped take part in. It was a good one, one that will have the Crimson Tide faithful raring to go tonight.
“Under the biggest stage in the sport. Under the brightest lights,” Davis said. “But nothing changes. Be blue-collar. Be tough. Fight for everything. Believe in yourself. Believe in your system. Play with a swagger. Trust your teammates. Celebrate them. Love them. Show you beat them. And when you take the court in Phoenix in front of 100,000 strong, everyone’s going to doubt you again. But you like it that way. Use it. Savor it. Live for it.
“This run has brought us some of the best moments in Alabama basketball history. But why stop now?”
Why stop now indeed.
