US aircraft maker Boeing's chief executive officer in 2023 received a total compensation about 45% higher than the prior year, the company revealed in a regulatory filing.
David Calhoun received a total compensation of $32.7 million, including base salary and stock awards in 2023, compared to the $22.6 million he received last year, and $21.1 million he received in 2021. His base salary remained unchanged in 2023 as well as 2022, the filing showed.
The total compensation received by Calhoun in 2023 includes $1.4 million in base salary, $30.2 million as stock awards and all other compensations of $1.1 million.
Last month Calhoun, who has been CEO of the aircraft maker since January 13, 2020, announced his decision to step down from the role at the end of 2024.
