South Florida lands transfer commitment from Colorado OL Jack Wilty

South Florida has landed a transfer commitment from Colorado Buffaloes offensive lineman Jack Wilty He has two seasons of eligibility remaining.

Wilty left Colorado after playing in 11 games during the 2023 season. He also started in the season opening win over TCU for the Buffaloes. In 146 pass attempts that he blocked for, Wilty did not allow a single sack on the season.

Prior to coming to Colorado, Wilty initially went to Northern Illinois in 2020 where he did not play before transferring to Iowa Central Community College for two seasons. In 2022, he was named to the 2022 ICCAC Football All-Conference first-team.

Jack Wilty played high school football at Southeast Polk (IA), where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 67 overall JUCO recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
