Pokemon Go Community Day leak hints at featured Pokemon

The Pokemon Go Community Day for April may have been leaked.

A since-deleted post showed that a Kanto Pokemon is the possible focus of the next Pokemon Go Community Day. Pokemon Go Brazil posted a teaser for a Grass-type Pokemon but deleted it soon after. Luckily, sharp-eyed trainers saw it just in time.

Pokemon Go Community Day April 2024 Pokemon revealed

So who is the focus of the upcoming Pokemon Go Community Day? We have a few guesses based on a deleted teaser from Niantic themselves.

Pokemon Go insider TrainersGo2022 joked that someone interning for Pokemon Go Brazil’s X page was to blame. It’s unclear what actually happened to make them post this clip and then promptly delete it but it’s forever online thanks to Go fans like TrainersGo2022.

In the clip, we see a slim leaf-like limb peaking out from a bush. We also hear a familiar sound that’s most likely inspired by the call of this Grass-type Pokemon.

Most trainers believe that this leaf belongs to Bellsprout, an iconic and classic ‘mon that is known for its similar movements when threatening enemies. But others think it could be Chikorita or another Grass type with a leaf on its head. Maybe Turtwig or Nuzleaf, who is from Sword & Shield.

No official account has confirmed which Grass-type Pokemon with a leaf on its head is representing the upcoming Community Day. We’ll have to wait and see.

When is Pokemon Go Community Day April 2024?
