As the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series heads to Texas for the AutoTrader EchoPark Automotive 400, the odds for who this weekend’s victor will be have been updated.

Last weekend’s afternoon at Martinsville was an incredible affair for Hendrick Motorsports. The team captured a 1-2-3 finish over the weekend, with William Byron winning his third race of the season, and Kyle Larson and Chase Elliott following suit behind the No. 24. Their fourth driver, Alex Bowman, came home with a solid P8 finish, as well.

Will the team have as much success this weekend at Texas? There’s plentiful of drivers looking to clinch their spot in the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series playoffs. As the campaign moves forward this weekend, here are the full betting lines for this weekend’s race at Texas, courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.

Kyle Larson (+400)

Kyle Larson qualifying

Kyle Larson has been the class of the field many times before, but he’s watched his teammate William Byron edge him out for wins on multiple occasions now. Still, Larson won’t be too mad with how things transpired at Martinsville, as he captured a P2 finish.

Texas is a solid track for Larson. He would’ve had an awesome shot at a win last season if he didn’t spin, resulting in his P31 finish. Some redemptions is potentially on the table for the former Cup Series champion.

Tyler Reddick (+600)

NASCAR Mobil 1 Tyler Reddick

Tyler Reddick has come close in 2024, but that first win of the season still eludes the No. 45 team. Last weekend at Martinsville, Reddick fell victim to the track once again, as he struggled while finishing P22 on the afternoon.

Last season at Texas, Reddick finished P25 during a playoff race, something he wasn’t too happy about. He has some good odds for this weekend’s return to the track, so we’ll see if he’s able to get the job done on Sunday.

Denny Hamlin (+650)

It was a loaded week for Denny Hamlin. He dealt with questions about his restart at Richmond, and entered a spat with SMI’s Marcus Smith, overshadowing his win last weekend. Still, he came home with a P11 finish in Martinsville, amid the distractions.

The last time Hamlin came to this particular track in Texas, he came home with a top five. He’ll be looking for a win, but we’re willing to bet he’d take another one if the opportunity presents itself this time around.

William Byron (+700)

William Byron Martinsville win

William Byron is shaking off the Daytona curse and proving it’s nothing more than a myth. He remains the top choice to win the NASCAR Cup Series title at the moment, as he captured his third win of the season with a win at Martinsville.

Could Byron reach four before any other driver even captures their third win? He’ll have a good shot, as he won at the track last season at its date during the playoffs. He’s all too familiar with the Victory Lane at the track now.

Ryan Blaney (+850)

ryan blaney

Ryan Blaney started the season off with a bang, but a couple of middling finishes cooled him off over the last month. However, Martinsville came at the perfect time, as one of Blaney’s favorite tracks resulted in a top five for the No. 12.

Some tough luck led to a P28 finish for Blaney at Texas last season. We’ll see if the reigning NASCAR champion can continue his upswing this weekend when the Cup Series goes back to the circuit.

Christopher Bell (+1200)

Christopher Bell Shriners Children's 500 Phoenix

Christopher Bell had a rough go of it at Martinsville. The Joe Gibbs Racing star came home with a P35 finish, after what was some consistently quality finishes for the No. 20 team in the weeks prior.

Now, Texas will be a welcomed stop on the calendar for Bell and his team. The No. 20 finished P4 during NASCAR’s last trip to the track, so they’ll be looking to regain some momentum as the Cup Series goes to the track.

Martin Truex Jr. (+1000)

Martin Truex Jr. playoffs

Martin Truex Jr. didn’t have his best stuff on Sunday, and it resulted in a P18 finish for the No. 19 team. Perhaps it was the result of a hangover from Richmond, where he was involved in a ton of drama with his teammate Denny Hamlin.

Now, Truex Jr. will turn his attention to Texas, where he finished P17 last season. He’s been running well in 2024, but a win still eludes him. Perhaps opportunity will knock when he returns to the track this weekend.

Chase Elliott (+1400)

Chase Elliott

Chase Elliott has been yearning for an elusive win, and it was in his grasp at Martinsville. He even tried to bump and run his teammate William Byron, but the No. 9 couldn’t get the job done and ended up with a P3 finish.

Regardless, it was an encouraging performance for Elliott and his Hendrick squad. We’ll see if he can recreate the magic in Texas, where he finished P11 last season with a solid performance.

Ross Chastain (+1400)

Ross Chastain

Ross Chastain became a legend at Martinsville in the past, and while he didn’t make headlines like that over the weekend, it was still a solid showing. The No. 1 finished P14 on the afternoon for Trackhouse Racing.

Texas was kind to Chastain in 2023, as he came home with a P2 finish last season. He only needs to gain one more spot, so we’ll see if victory is in his future when the Cup Series goes green on Sunday.

Bubba Wallace (+1600)

Bubba Wallace

It just feels like that first win of 2024 is on its way for Bubba Wallace. He’s been extremely consistent throughout the season, and he showed that again in Martinsville, as he came home with a P4 finish on the afternoon.

He famously came close to a win at Texas last season. Kevin Harvick named him as a driver to watch this weekend, so we’ll see if the No. 23 is on it’s way to Victory Lane for the first time in Texas on Sunday afternoon.
