Tottenham sold their most valuable player this summer in the shape of Harry Kane.
The England captain moved to Bayern Munich in a deal worth an initial £86m, and that was seen to be a huge blow for Spurs.
However, Tottenham have kicked on this season under Ange Postecoglou, and while they may have lost Kane, they’ve been stronger than they have been for a long time this term.
Indeed, many of Spurs’ young stars have come to the fore this term, and according to CIES, Tottenham now have a young player who’s worth even more than Harry Kane.

CIES have now give an update using their algorithm to predict the transfer values of certain players in world football.
In their latest analysis, CIES have boosted Destiny Udogie’s transfer value massively, and according to their data, the Italian is now worth £89m.
That’s a higher value than the fee Kane moved for this summer.
Destiny Udogie is worth more than Harry Kane.
Destiny Udogie, obviously, isn’t a better player than Harry Kane, but we can understand the argument that he is worth more than Kane in terms of transfer value.
Udogie is arguably the best left-back in the Premier League at the moment, and at the age of just 21 he has so much upside.
Meanwhile, Kane is now in his 30s, and it’s hard for any player, as good as they are, to maintain a high transfer value as they enter the latter years of their career.
Kane is undoubtedly one of the best players in world football, but with the way the transfer market works these days, a young star like Udogie probably does have a higher value than an established veteran like Kane.
Regardless, the £15m move for Udogie last summer was an absolute bargain.
