Kyle Cooke from Summer House has been facing marital woes with his wife, Amanda Batula. He claims he couldn’t find “a single photo” of him in his wife’s camera roll – before going out and getting drunk.
Summer House fans have become “tired” of seeing Kyle return home in the early hours after drinking. However, Kyle Cooke told his co-star, Paige, how it’s not Amanda Batula’s “lashing out” that bothers him.
Summer House’s Kyle ‘tires’ fans with antics
Kyle told Paige he “wants to feel like he’s on the same page as Amanda” despite currently “having a good summer”. During the April 11 episode, Kyle stumbled home drunk at 4am, and fans weren’t happy.
One viewer said, “I am tired of Kyle. I am tired of Kyle being drunk all the time. I am tired of Kyle talking about Lindsey as if she isn’t a person. I think Kyle is too big for his britches.”
Another penned, “I cannot imagine my husband going out fairly regularly partying until 4 am at 42. Amanda grew up over the years and Kyle just stayed the same. I think this is why they’re butting heads.”
Amanda’s camera roll upsets Kyle
Amanda’s “digs” aren’t the problem for Kyle, after Paige DeSorbo points them out. He says, a week ago, he saw Amanda’s phone on the sink and when he opened it, “There wasn’t even a single photo of me.”
Paige clarifies that he was referring to Amanda’s camera roll, asking Kyle, “And that hurt your feelings?” Kyle nods his head, saying, “Yeah,” before breaking down in tears.
He ‘wants to be on same page’
Kyle tells the cameras that he knows he’s “a lot” to handle at times, but recently he’s felt neglected by his wife. “I don’t want to be sitting there scratching my head wondering if you even like me,” he said.
“Or if you’re bothered by my presence,” Kyle says in a confessional, “But that’s often how it feels.” They’ve recently had issues, including wanting to move out of New York City.
She explained she didn’t want to raise a family in “all that riffraff” in New York, but Kyle insisted it wasn’t time to relocate. Amanda also has issues with Kyle continuing to stay out late during the week.
