'My dream': 35-year-old says he'd even snub Real Madrid to become the next Tottenham manager

Tottenham Hotspur are slowly becoming one of the most attractive teams in the Premier League.

Spurs appointed Ange Postecoglou as their manager before the start of this season, and he has completely transformed the club.

Tottenham now have a fantastic style of football, an incredible stadium and they are building a very, very good squad as well that could go on to compete with the biggest clubs in the country.

Spurs fans are loving life right now, and one of their former stars is dreaming of a return as well – not as a player but to become the Tottenham manager after Postecoglou

Sandro Raniere says he wants to become the Tottenham manager

A former player becoming the manager of the same club would be a great story, wouldn’t it?

Pep Guardiola did it at Barcelona and achieved true greatness there, while Mikel Arteta is aiming to do the same at Arsenal right now and he’s doing a great job.

Glen Hoddle played and managed at Tottenham back in the day, as did Tim Sherwood. Ryan Mason has filled in on an interim basis too.

Now, another former Spurs player has expressed his desire to become the Tottenham manager after Ange Postecoglou – Sandro.

The Brazilian spent four years at Spurs and played over 100 games for them. He was a decent player on his day and he’s now dreaming about becoming a manager.

In an interview with Gianluca Di Marzio, Sandro revealed that his dream is to become the Tottenham boss one day and he’d choose Spurs over the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona.

He said: “My dream is not to coach Barcelona or Real Madrid but Tottenham. I’m only 35 years old and have a lot of time ahead of me. I am aware that I have to work my way up first.

“But, my goal is the Tottenham bench, which I consider the best club in London. Just look at what President Daniel Levy has done over the years, building the new training center and stadium. The club fights every year to enter the Champions League.

“Tottenham lacks nothing and now year after year they will build an increasingly competitive team.”

Sandro is already practising his moves as next Tottenham boss

Tottenham fans will be hoping that Ange Postecoglou stays at the club for a long, long time.

The Australian has become a fan favourite at Spurs. He is everything Tottenham supporters want, and we’re sure nobody at the club is even thinking of seeing him move on.

However, there will come a day when Postecoglou decides to leave the club, and Sandro seems to be eyeing the Spurs job then.

The Brazilian wants to become the Tottenham manager so bad that he’s even practising his moves if he does get the opportunity one day.
