Jabre Barber transferred to Texas A&M this offseason after three seasons at Troy. However, his offseason in College Station has reportedly taken a very bad turn.

Per Matt Zenitz, Barber has underwent a surgery for a foot injury. It will now sideline him for the coming months as he recovers from that procedure.

“Texas A&M wide receiver Jabre Barber has undergone surgery to repair a foot injury and is expected to miss several months, sources tell @247Sports,” wrote Zenitz on Twitter. “The Troy transfer had been emerging as a top option at WR for A&M and also an option as a punt returner.”
