Forget the Oscars, celebrities dress pull out all the stops on the Red Carpet

Last night marked the 76th Writers Guild Awards which saw some of the biggest stars walk the Red Carpet at Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, honoring the best writing in film, television, and radio.

A-list celebrities from around Hollywood took to the Red Carpet for the prestigious award show, and they didn’t hold back on the glitz and the glam. From QuintaBrunson to Niecy Nash-Betts, here are our top five favorite looks of the night.

Sometimes, simple is the most effective, and Quinta Bruson showed us that last night.

The Abbott Elementary creator kept it low-key with a black vest suit and matching pants, finishing the look off with some matching black heels.

However, just because it was low-key, doesn’t mean she wasn’t making any noise, as she stunned on the Red Carpet. A timeless and sophisticated look, we’re loving it.

Niecy Nash-Betts

Host Nicey Nash-Betts went for a completely different approach picking a bright pink dress, and she looked gorgeous doing it.

The two-toned dress made the host stand out loud and proud, as she was adorably joined by her wife, Jessica Betts on the carpet, who wore a suit and purple pants, tying in perfectly together. Obsessed over this fashion moment!

Also coming through with the pop of colors was Bridesmaids actress Wendi McLendon-Covey. If her orange bandeau dress wasn’t enough color, she added even more with her purple heels.

Not normally two colors we’d put together, but the Bridesmaids pulled the look off and absolutely slayed the Writers Guild Awards’ Red Carpet!

Living out her Barbie dreams, Ilana Glazer wasn’t holding back, as she wore a pink mini dress, equipped with ‘ruffled’ feathers at the top.

If that wasn’t enough, she wore some metallic silver stilettos which perfectly finished the stunning look off. We don’t know how she managed to walk in them, all night, but she did!

A moment of silence for the bag, please. Comedian Julio Torres kept his fit casual, but the same can’t be said for the iconic bag.

The messenger bag had a picture of a waterfall on the front, and it continued dripping as the fabric on the outside resembled the water falling. So creative, we love it!
