Just as Andy Cohen reveals he’s crowned the ‘Grand Duke of Potomac’, Robyn Dixon takes to social media to share she’s “fired” from The Real Housewives of Potomac. The 45-year-old was a long-standing cast member on the show alongside her now-former co-stars including OGs Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, and Karen Huger.
Robyn Dixon‘s love life was laid bare during her final seasons on The Real Housewives of Potomac. Despite all kinds of rumors circulating about her husband, Juan Dixon, Andy Cohen has said he thinks the two “will always be family” and shares how much “respect” he has for Robyn on his radio show.

Robyn, 45, announced via her podcast that she was “fired” from The Real Housewives of Potomac.
The Bravo star who has been there “since day one” in Andy’s words, will not return for season 9.
Speaking during SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live, Andy said Robyn: “Opened up an unconventional family life but one that really works for her. and is based on such a long history with she and Juan.”
Speaking of the couple, Andy continued: “…I mean they’ve known each other since high school… they are family those two. However many people want to question that relationship. What is clear is they are actually family and will always be.”
Applauding how straight to the point Robyn was in her post, the radio host said he had huge “respect” for her: “She announced that she was let go. I so respect Robyn for truth bombing. anyone can say whatever they want, I just love it that that’s what she said.
He also explained how Candiace Dillard Basset is also leaving RHOP and “wishes them well and hopes to see them both back on screen in the future.”
RHOP star is ‘OK with it’
Speaking on her shared podcast with Gizelle Bryant, Reasonably Shady, Robyn gave her take on her departure after eight years as a Real Housewife.
She said she waited until the end of the season to reveal she won’t be returning to season 9 of RHOP.
Robyn added: “…It’s reality. The network did not invite me back. I was fired for lack of better words. And, I will not sugarcoat the situation and be like ‘Oh I am walking away and this is a break’ or anything like this. This was a network decision and I’m OK with it because nothing lasts forever.”
